Shipping Policy

We know you are excited about your purchases and want them as soon as possible.  That’s why we ship US domestic orders using either UPS Ground, or US Postal Service (generally priority mail).  This option is designated as the Standard Delivery option.  We compare the carriers' rates and choose which way to ship based on the size of your order. Most orders will leave our shop with in 24 business hours.  If any of your items are not available at the time of shipment we will notify you via e-mail or phone and the balance of your order will ship when they become available.  All orders should be delivered to you between 3-6 business days from the time of shipment. 

Shipping Rates 

Our shipping rate is $4.95 for orders under $25 and FREE for orders over $25! Expedited delivery is $16.95 for the continental U.S.  Expedited delivery is not available outside the continental U.S.  Please note our rates may change as we add new products and our website grows in popularity, so tell your friends about us!

Shipping Materials

We recycle the shipping materials that we receive; therefore, you may receive your order with styrofoam peanuts or other less-than-eco-friendly packaging materials.  We figure that reusing less than desirable packaging materials is better than stuffing a landfill with them.  We would appreciate you also continuing this cycle of re-use should you receive your order with such materials enclosed. 

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases.  If for some reason you are not satisfied, you may return all unused items purchased at Green Pets within 30 days of the original delivery. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping costs.  Please note: we cannot accept returns after 30 days commencing from the date you received your order. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item.
